U-20/U-17 Boys Challenge Cup

The Baltimore-Chesapeake Brumbies and the Potomac Rugby Foundation would like to thank all the participants and everyone who helped make the 3rd Annual U-20/U-17 Boys Challenge Cup a success. The tournament serves as a selection vehicle for the USA Under-20 National Team program.
USA U-20 Head Coach Salty Thompson commented on the tournament, “the foundation’s Challenge Cup has achieved another milestone for the U-20 program, bringing together some of the best players in the country in a highly competitive showcase at a superior location. This event offers a nice balance to the all-star event in Colorado and provides a resource for kids who want to be seen and evaluated.” Several other USA coaches were in attendance as well. Overall, 69 players from the 2007 Challenge Cup were invited to the National U-17, U-18, and U-20 trial camps in Elkhart, Indiana.
