2008 Award Winners The 2008 Award Ceremony was held on March 21st, 2009 at the Sheraton City Center The Peter Brock award has been given out since 1987 to a player who exemplifies the spirit of Peter Brock. This player is missed when not on the field; is an ambassador for the sport off the field and plays the game at 'full-throttle' and in a sportsman-like fashion; hard, strong and true..."no quarter given; no quarter asked!" The award winners on the evening were: Peter Brock Award - Evan Cameron Don McCardell Service Award - Tom Pierce Most Valuable Forward - William Otto Most Valuable Back - William Knipscher Rookie of the Year - Giancarlo Diviacchi Most Improved Player - Evan Harkum Player's Choice - Jason Powell The Lifetime Achievement Award was also presented to Tony Armiger.
