Meeting Notes
We Congratulate the New Officers who were sworn in on Thursday. They will serve from August 2009 until August 2010. They are:

Ravens Fundraiser:
Everyone must work at least 1 home game. Please contact Sam Weiland to sign up, sjw@Hertzbach.com. Everyone must also be TEAM trained in order to work. Here is the TEAM Training schedule for Sept and Oct (there will be more dates available in November):

    2009-2010 USA Rugby CIPP Membership:
    Registration is now open. Everyone who plays rugby in the United States must register with USA Rugby. You cannot play in league matches unless you register. You can register at https://membership.usarugby.org/default.aspx.

    Upcoming Events:
  • Annual Bull Roast is Saturday, November 21. Every Player is REQUIRED to attend. We are also looking for donated items to be raffled.
  • The Polar Bear Plunge is Saturday, January 30, 2010 at Sandy State Point Park. Please register and donate at http://plungemd.kintera.org/baltimorerugby.

    Coaches Corner

    Fall Practice has begun at Bocek Park on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 6:30 to 8:30. Please visit the Practice Information page for directions.

    Make sure you bring cleats and sneakers. In case of poor weather, we will post any changes to the practice location on the website and we will send emails through the yahoo group listserver.

    The Norfolk game that is scheduled for Saturday, October 24 is being played at 6:00 p.m. Please make arrangements now.

    Best memory in rugby: So many but one of my fondest has to be the Atlanta Cup four years ago, we drank all night, got lost, woke up in a staircase, showed up a half hour late and won every game. Everyone drank hard, played hard and never quit no matter how sick we all were. It was rugby at its purest form.
    Biggest disappointment in rugby: Losing to Hayward at the sweet sixteen, I think we had the team to take it all the way
