Ravens Fundraiser:
Everyone must work at least 1 home game. Please contact Sam Weiland to sign up, sam.weiland@hotmail.com. Everyone must also be TEAM trained in order to work. Here is the TEAM Training schedule for Oct:

You can pay online via PayPal, with a check (payable to BCRFC) or cash. Check and Cash go to Dan Randow.

    Upcoming Events:
  • Family Rugby Day is Saturday, October 20. The Brumbies' match vs Schuylkill River starts at 1:00 p.m. There will be food and drink provided. Please rsvp to James Hale (jamespaulhale@yahoo.com) if you plan on attending. There is no cost but donations are always accepted and much appreciated.
  • Annual Bull Roast is Saturday, November 21. Every Player is REQUIRED to attend. We are also looking for donated items to be raffled.

    Now that we have lights Fall Practice will remain at Bocek Park on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 6:30 to 8:30. Please visit the Practice Information page for directions.

    Full Name: Luis I Tambussi (goes by Nacho in Argentina, for obvious reasons I said that my name was Luis in the US) Nacho = Potato Chip
    Nickname: In Argentina I use to be call "Buche" which means "big double chin" (off course for obvious reasons, again, I did not disclose this information in the US)
    Birthplace: Buenos Aires, Argentina. Home of the #3 Rugby country of the world and soon to be part of the new 4 nations
    Birthdate: Dec-1 1977 (yep, I look much older)
    Occupation: Make fun of CJ 24/7 .....and when I am not on the phone with him...I work at TRowe Price
    Marital status: Living the American Dream. Married my beautiful wife Julie (I am forwarding this to her)
    College: Lots of years at Universidad de Buenos Aires
    Years playing: 26 (I probably spent 10 Injured)
    Positions: Started at 7...Moved to 15....got solid at 13....tried 10 in the US....make the Sweet 16 as a #8....tried 10 again ....move to 12 for retirement....I will probably pull a Brett Favre with the #1 in my back
    Previous clubs: Belgrano Athletic, Los Cedros Rugby (Buenos Aires)
    Why you started playing: It was either Soccer or Rugby...Soccer is for Girls

    Favorite International team: South Africa...and off course Argentina
    Favorite players: Agustin Pichot (ARG); John Eals (AUS); Francois Pienaar (SA); John Smith (AUS); Richie McCaw (NZ); Christian Cullen (NZ) and many more that I do not know how to spell...
    Biggest influence in rugby: Juan Carlos Lista (Under 17 coach), Abuelo Camardon (Coach Los Cedros)
    Best memory in rugby: Too many. All the friends I made over the years. Turing South Africa for 40 days at age 19. Imagine the amount of good Rugby and Party. Beating the Cape Town team on a prelim match with over 40,000 people. Amazing . Also, the Copenhagen trip with BC. Incredible time.
    Biggest disappointment in rugby: Three. 1.-Never making a national team squad 2.-Never winning a National championship with BC 3.-having to retired because my body is asking me to do it.
    Favorite post-match ritual: Hanging with the boys at the field drinking a Natty Boh and watching Joe the Cop destroying people
    Favorite Baltimore Bar: McGerks. Sorry for all the Mums funs...
    Favorite Beer: Switch all the time but I have to go with Stella

    Other sports: Squash, Tennis, Futbol, Beer Pong....etc
    Favorite books: Alchemist
    Favorite films: Sense of a Woman & Rudy
