Old Boys

From the desk of Wade Gowl:

  • Congratulations to Tracey and Neil Bocchetta for the birth of Stella Katherine.
  • Next OB match is Sunday, November 23 - vs Poltroons. 11 a.m. Home at Frank Bocek Field Park 3198 E Madison St Baltimore, MD 21205. We are Wearing our red jerseys. Old Boys picture to be taken!! Join us at Jack Gordon’s Bayou Café located 10 miles away on the White Marsh Avenue for the Ravens v Eagles afterwards. The address is 8133 Honeygo Blvd Nottingham, MD 21236.
  • Thank you to everyone who came to the Wild Geese match Oct 18. Our opposition was well stacked with Frederick Club side players (after the first period granted) who had a bye that pretty much dominated our forwards. That is not normal. Don’t get discouraged. Please keep coming. Plus start helping me recruit our retired club side players, that are now old boys, that would allow us to equalize those kind of line outs and scrums.
  • Dennis Murphy Day is our old boys’ annual gathering, December 5. This year it is at Bayou Café again, on the Avenue in White Marsh.
