    Youth rugby
The second Baltimore youth season has ended. The U11 placed 4th losing in the bowl finals to Washington, while the U15, unfortunately, placed last. We would like to thank everyone who has helped, especially the coaches: Rob Books, Danny Cohen, Liam McIntyre and Francesco Paganini. These guys have sacrificed their time and most of their summer to coach. Their contribution to the sport and to the future of Baltimore-Chesapeake cannot be measured and we cannot thank them enough. These young kids are the future of Baltimore Rugby.

    Player Profile
    Full Name: Ryan Timothy Burns
Nickname: The caveman who feeds me, but I hear his friends call him Big Head, The Ape, or Blackout
Birthplace: Some cave outside of Baltimore
    Birthdate: The Stone Age
Occupation: He’s my bitch, but to make the money, I send him to Aerotek
Marital status: Recently became single, apparently Kate didn’t like being called Ann Marie. Thankfully she’s gone now so I don’t have to sleep with Snarf anymore.
College: I think the one with the Kellog’s Frosted Flakes mascot.
Years playing: 35 dog years, not sure how many human years
Positions: The one where he sticks his head up another guy's butt. And he says me licking my walnut is gross.
    Previous clubs: Towson
Why you started playing: Wasn't good enough at lax at Boys Latin and got tired of backing up his younger brother on the football team. He has a sweet lax shot though! Just ask!

Favorite International team: Ireland and the USA Maccabiah team
Favorite players: Jason Powell. He admires him so much, he calls me MaGerk.
Biggest influence in rugby: JAN PRETORIOUS
Best memory in rugby: When Jason Powell said hi to him, he goes on and on about it...he also enjoys giving Jason Powell hugs before the scrums.
Biggest disappointment in rugby: Failing to live up to Jason Powell’s reputation, even Conner Albert Powell has better ball skills. Oh yeah, he was also pretty upset about not going to Scotland
Favorite post-match ritual: Taking me for walks then leaving me in the apartment, alone, in the dark 12 hours at a time, cleaning up my poop, never bathing me - then coming home completely wasted after losing to Jason Powell in dance-offs, drink-offs, evel-dog eating contests, rugby, soccer, badminton, water polo, mini golf, tennis, work, and life - and feeding me human food that is so good and healthy for me! I tried the hot sauce once, shit all over his mom steps!...Oh My God!...He's home...Shhhh, be quiet, he doesn't like when I talk and he's drunk...Phew...it's just Snarf...No, no, what are you doing...Ruff, Ruff, Bark, Bark...leave me alone...I hate when you do that...
Favorite Baltimore Bar: Mums, and any other bar that he can meet a gargoyle to bring home, I hate those nights b/c I have to sleep with Snarf...yeah, I'm talking about you...go back to bed you drunk...sorry about that...where were we...
Favorite Beer: I see lots of Natty Boh boxes lying around next to my food and water bowl.

Other sports: Snarf calls his bedroom "Neverland" and likes to touch my cookie in there when Ryan is not home. Pushing snow, and dog walking.
Favorite books: Marley and Me, I made him get the audio book because he has trouble with the bigger words
Favorite films: Marley and Me, Scooby Doo, and all the Air Bud movies
Favorite quotes: “Dogs are miracles with paws” ~ Susan Ariel Rainbow Kennedy
“My little dog – a heartbeat at my feet” ~ Edith Wharton
“I think dogs are the most amazing creatures; they give unconditional love. For me they are the role model for being alive. “ ~Gilda Radner
“Properly trained, a man can be a dog’s best friend” ~ Corey Ford
