We are proud to be hosting the first ever Battle of Baltimore on Saturday, February 27, 2010.
The key matches of the day will feature 4 college teams and 4 high school/U19 teams. The four High School teams are: Poly HS, Loyola HS, Eleanor Roosevelt HS, and North Bay U19.
The four college teams are from the Potomac Rugby Union's Division 2 Baltimore group: Towson University, UMBC, Loyola University, and John Hopkins University. There will also be a match between Towson University Women and University of Maryland Women.
Balt-Ches will play two matches vs the Maryland Exiles, and there will be an old boys match between BC and North Bay. The games start at 9:00 a.m. and they will be played at Bocek Field, which is located at 3198 E Madison Street, Baltimore, MD 21205.

Everyone who plays rugby in the United States must register with USA Rugby. You cannot play in any league matches unless you register. You can register at https://membership.usarugby.org/IndividualDefault.aspx.

Ngata attended rugby powerhouse Highland High School where he played Lock. He helped lead his high school team to the National Rugby Championship in 2003. Remarkably, he was thrown out of the championship match for unnecessary roughness.
